Some Information You Should Know
CSC Newsletters will be sent home filled with information of upcoming events , past events and school information.
Catholic School Council meetings are held monthly (check the newsletter and calendar on the web for dates and times). Everyone welcome. Meetings are an opportunity to bring parents together to help foster a strong connection between school, church and families of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Elementary School.
Meetings follow an agenda and are chaired by the Chairperson of the committee. Individual issues are not brought to the meeting, but concerns/questions that concern the school and school body are always welcomed.
Parents are welcomed to get involved with many activities in the school, through volunteering their time in leading, helping out and attending the various functions. From time to time the Parent Council will ask for volunteers for these functions through notices.
Fund Raising through the school community helps with the purchase of sports equipment, library books, swimming lessons, school trips, funding of refreshments for various events throughout the school year. We know that fund raising helps in attaining many extra items for school. The Parent Council’s goal is to strengthen the connection between school, church and families. We hope to see you at many of the activities throughout the year as well as a meeting or two!
